Untangle your life
An introduction to untangling®
shrewsbury. apr 24-25th 2027Are there places in your life that feel blocked, tangled and impossible?
Maybe you have tried everything… being rational, working hard, getting help… but nothing works .
And maybe you then fall into helplessness and self criticism… !
…this is a place to use Untangling®
Yet, there is a way that could untangle this and offer lasting change and self compassion. What if every part of us was not an enemy to battled with but an ally to befriend and learn from. At the heart of Focusing is the truth that every part of you is on your side… and that deep within you is wisdom waiting to be heard. This weekend retreat will dive deeply into Untangling® ( originally developed by Ann Weiser Cornell and Barbara McGavin) a special kind of Focusing that we use in the most tricky areas of our life. Some of our themes:
Developing deep self empathy
Meeting inner critics and judges
Untangling patterns of protection
Meeting younger and wounded parts of you
The map of stuckness and tangled areas of our lives
Developing presence and “Compassionate self”
